Hello, I’m Anna Smith, founder of AJD. I’m a wife, a mother, and a designer. Three roles that have shaped my life in the best possible way. My husband and I married in early 2024, and in 2025 we welcomed our joyful little girl, who’s been the sweetest addition to our world.

AJD began in 2018 during my final year of interior design school. What started as a simple creative outlet, a space to share DIY projects, home inspiration, and personal style — naturally evolved into something bigger. Over time, it grew into a brand built on meaningful interiors, intentional design, and a curated shop offering home goods and clothing that feel lived-in, personal, and timeless. Today, AJD blends interior design services with thoughtfully selected products, rooted in the belief that your home should tell your story.

Becoming a stay-at-home mom has allowed me to relaunch this business with fresh vision and purpose. Something made possible thanks to the unwavering support of my husband. Design has always been part of who I am. As a little girl, I’d sketch floor plans and dream up ways to make spaces smarter, cozier, and more functional — especially for families and children (including my younger self!). From the very first week of college, I knew interior design was my calling.
